Laboratory Technician / Entry Level – Suits Scientific Bias Candidates

An opportunity has arisen within an established business on the outskirts of Burton which would suit candidates with a good educational background in a science subject (particularly Chemistry), experience of working in laboratory conditions as part of your studies (placement, gap year) and some knowledge and experience in the following:

Colorimetry
GC-FID
Particle Size Analysis
Spectrophotometer etc.

A decent level of ability in Mathematics is also required (GCSE A/B grades minimum, ideally A Level+)

Day to day duties will be to complete QC work in a laboratory such as microbiological analysis, environmental analysis including swabs, analysing raw food materials, internal audits etc.

Hours are 35 hours/week and the role is full of opportunity for the right candidate, this being the 1st stage of a potentially long career with a well established business worldwide.
