Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Salary: £21.6 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client based close to Worksop for a Mechanical Assember / Mechanical Fitter. This business is expanding their team of expert Assembly Engineers as they are experiencing a very busy time.

This is an ideal opportunity for long term contract work, with a business who have a unique product catalogue. This role will be varied and fast paced.

The Person:

• Experience building machinery.
• A recognised engineering qualification.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

The Role:

• Reading engineering drawings and assembling machinery.
• Using hand-tools to assemble machinery.
• Assembling and constructing complex machine’s.
• Checking the machinery to the engineering spec.
• Working with other fitters to ensure the machine will run safely and efficiently.
• Providing support across other areas of the process.

This role is working Monday to Friday and you will be paid £21.6 per hour dependent on experience level.
