We are working with an FE college in the South Yorkshire area who are looking for a full-time and permanent Carpentry Lecturer to join their team.

The successful candidate would be based in the education provider’s construction department, and would be tasked with lecturing on both theoretical and practical carpentry courses (from level 1 to 3). The majority of teaching will be practical delivery within the carpentry workshop, although there would also be some classroom sessions to deliver.

The starting salary for this position is £34,813.2 per annum this is a flexible salary up for negotiation depending on qualifications/experience. This post will also include a teacher’s pension, in-house training, and a healthy holiday allowance (plus Bank Holidays and closure days).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:

– Level 3 Carpentry Qualification

– Teaching Qualification (desired)

– 3+ Years Relevant Industry Experience

The education provider are able to consider candidates who do not yet have a teaching qualification, as they would be able to put you through a teaching qualification while you are in the role.
