The company currently employ approx. 25 people and enjoy a position at the top end of luxury marine products, and due to very positive market response to their latest designs they are now ready for their next phase of growth.
They have a passion for innovation and new concepts and are proud of their multi-cultural approach to management, along with their proven ability to blend the best ideas in luxury yachting with the advanced technology used so well in the high performance car industry.
This full-time Office Manager role is new and will report at Director level and whilst there are responsibilities identified for the position, the right candidate will stamp their brand on the role and have the confidence and authority step forward to take control of all day to day support duties associated with running the business, whilst managing the Directors.
As Office Manager your responsibilities will include:
– Organising and managing the Directors, including agendas, meetings, travel etc.
– Liaising with high net worth customers and clients.
– Managing and negotiating with suppliers of office utilities, consumables, equipment etc.
– Receiving and dealing with all calls, queries and correspondence.
– Control of personnel and Health & Safety records and policies.
– Preparing correspondence, reports and presentations on behalf of the Directors.
– Manage shipments for efficient use of space.
– Monitor and manage budgets.
– In the short-term, liaise with property agents and insurers and other activities associated with the move to the new facility.
– Working as part of the team to do what has to be done!
To be successful in the Office Manager role, you are likely to:
– Have previous Office Manager or senior PA experience in a high profile business.
– Possess interpersonal and communication skills to the highest degree.
– Take a pragmatic and adaptable approach to problem solving.
– Be highly competent in MS Office software, including Word PowerPoint and Exel.
– Be personally well organised and able to do so for others.
– Able to make and enact decisions autonomously.
The Company will outgrow the existing facility and will relocate in the coming months to much larger coastal premises in the locality.
