Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

The Role:

Our London based client are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to provide general administrative support and office management, as well as accounts and invoice support, for a rapidly growing tech start-up.

You’ll support the CEO, COO and senior management team. This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly growing, 4-year old company generating a lot of buzz in the ecommerce space.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an organised and smooth running office
• Manage scheduling; coordinate with the activities of multiple team members across our offices and external companies
• Plan, book, arrange, and rearrange travel
• Track expenses and receipts
• Support with invoicing and supplier payments
• Assist in updating reports and preparing for meetings
• Provide front-line phone coverage for the company
• Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and exhibits
• Assist with regular late afternoon meetings to accommodate American time zones
• Carry out ad hoc and other duties as assigned – there will be opportunities to work across HR and Recruiting initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate MUST have experience in a similar role. You should also have/be:

• Extremely well organised and detail oriented
• Proactive, self-motivated, a “can do” and “do whatever it takes” attitude
• Takes ownership of assigned tasks and can work independently
• Resourceful problem solver with the ability to anticipate needs
• Effective multitasker – ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and calmly under pressure
• A team player who’s congenial, professional, and responsible with a positive attitude
• High integrity, trustworthy, and highly confidential with sound judgment and professional maturity
• Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment
• Comfortable using technology, the Internet, and their tools, including strong knowledge of Word & Excel
• Experience with KeyNote, PowerPoint, would be advantageous
