We are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Administrator for a client in the South of Aberdeen. Previous experience in the waste management sector would be highly advantageous. This is a permanent position with competitive salary. the role will be office based.
Main Purpose of the Role:-
The role is to provide support in a wide range of administrative activities across various departments thus enabling you to cover and take responsibility for the delivery of many of the operational activities associated with Waste management and the business You must at all times promote a professional image of the company as you will likely be first point of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
Main Responsibilities:

Communicates regularly with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure free flow of information and quality service is provided at all times

Manages correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail

Assists in planning and arranging events, organising meetings, booking rooms, and planning refreshments

Process expenses, invoicing and billing cycles, support accounts department with credit control and end of month/year activities.

Provide support and cover to weighbridge

Manages reception area and looks after visitors
-
Responsible for keeping information updated and accurate and ensuring an audit trail of all compliance documentation

Answers phone calls, booking in jobs, filing, pricing queries and invoicing

Compile waste reports, and other management information
-
Dealing with customer queries and complaints

Setting up new contracts and vendors
-
Sending out customer quotes, tracking and follow up as required
Role Requirement
Essential

Demonstrable experience of office administration and support

Strong Attention to Detail.

Able to work on their own initiative and take responsible for the delivery of tasks however working in collaboration with all other parts of the business is vital

Excellent Time Management Skills

Exceptional Communication and Customer Service Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs and other business management systems and databases

Ability to handle confidential Information

Strong Record Keeping Skills

Friendly and personable to both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications, Skills and Education
Essential

Good standard of education
Hours of work:-
8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch).
Rota for Saturday work approximately 1 in 7 weeks.
