Chemical Process Engineer

Up to £48k plus benefits

Our client in Basingstoke is a chemical processing plant leading the world in their production of a range of lithium products.

As demand increases, they are experiencing growth and are working with us to source experienced Chemical Process Engineers to join them in their Basingstoke sites.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of capital projects and responsibilities will include:

• Process calculations, process descriptions, control philosophies, P&IDs/PFDs, equipment lists
• Participation and lead of Process Hazard Analysis
• Process heating and cooling system design and commissioning
• “Hands on” mechanical work
• Working closely with suppliers and external stakeholders/contractors

Ideal Candidates for this role:

Will be degree educated with a strong knowledge of Chemical engineering, great communication skills, mechanically minded with ability to work collaboratively and independently

Will also have experience:

• • • Designing chemical engineering process in a manufacturing set
    • practical heat transfer work
    • liquid solid separation and solids handling
    • using AutoCAD 2D and plant 3D
    • PLC/SCADA systems and controls experience would be useful too.
