Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
We are looking to appoint a graduate level Process Engineer to provide the production department in the manufacturing in the most efficient and cost effective way. This is a varied role within a small department in a heavy engineering business.
Responsibilities will include:
Day to day engineering support for production
Defect analysis and resolution
Scrap reduction
Equipment utilisation and performance optimisation
Process development and new process introduction
Project management and subcontractor support and control
Documentation and procedure control
Material utilisation and cost reduction
New product development support
Project reporting
Package Details:
Salary from £36,000 – £42,000pa depending upon experience
Matched contribution pension
Hours 8.30-4.30
Requirements:
Degree qualified – mechanical, electrical or similar
Experience 5+ in a process engineering role or similar
Experience in a manufacturing environment with lean/continuous improvement processes
Demonstrable project management experience
of plastic/rubber extrusion
Able to communicate at all levels
Willing to take responsibility for problem solving
