Job Profile
As the successful Manual Machinist Trainer you will be working with the apprentices to develop their skills on machining supported by a strong management team.
Duties
* Developing and training apprentices on Manual Milling, Turning, Grinding EDM machines
* Training Junior Manual Machinist on machining techniques
* Use gauges and measuring tools to meet tolerance requirements
* Producing old and new components and tooling for the company product range
* Working to tight tolerances
* Training team on how to read engineering drawings
* Teach Self-inspection
Skills & Experience
* Manual milling, turning and grinding
* Able to train and develop others
* Background in Manual Machining or Toolmaking
* Understand of Fanuc controls would be an advantage but training
* Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong team player who can train and motivate others
Hours of Work & Benefits
* Working hours to suit
* Between 07.30 – 16.00 Monday – Friday
* annual salary of £36,000 – £42,000per year
* Overtime paid at x1.5
