We are offering an IT Administrator role in a dynamic agency that provides frequent new challenges and learning opportunities.

The ICT Operations team is responsible for collecting, processing and storing personal data for research purposes by running data capture software – Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI), CAWI for web surveys and CAPI for personal interviewing. They also analyse survey data and provide ICT support, particularly within Office 365 as well as hardware set up and support.

Role and Responsibilities

Initially and after training, your day to day work will involve providing cover and support to the members of our small ICT Operations team to assist them in meeting the needs of other research delivery teams across the company. This will involve:

• Producing CATI/CAWI/CAPI questionnaire scripts for the in-house system
• Providing support to the analysts in production of research data and tables
• Ensuring all datasets contain accurate, up to date data
• Providing IT support in both hardware and software to staff

Person Spec

• Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
• The ability to manage your time effectively & productively
• A team player who takes the initiative and shows a high level of commitment
• A genuine interest in IT & handling data
• An analytical, problem solving mind-set
• Understand the need for confidentiality
• Experience of Windows 10/11 and MS Office 365, including Excel, Outlook and Access

There will be opportunities for development, particularly in the areas of advanced analysis and presentation of results so the ability to quickly assimilate new information and the desire to learn new skills is essential. After training, hybrid office and home working will be available.

Qualifications

As a minimum you will need a maths and/or IT related A-Level or equivalent.
