Registered Manager

Salary: £62,400 – £66,000 per year

Are you a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Manager – with a focus bring a team together. Our client is looking for a Registered Care Home Manager with at least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager. This is an established home in beautiful surroundings which can accommodate up to 50 residents. They have several lounges, conservatories and gardens which the residents can enjoy all year round

This home meets a wide range of personal needs for older people, within a supportive environment. The focus is on the residents as individuals, helping them live the most fulfilling life as possible. Residents have hobbies and interests and are encouraged to participate and share these.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with their policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements. You will manage a team of staff, developing best practice, leading by example and supporting further development of Person-Centred care. In return you will get a competitive salary with a fantastic benefits package.

The Registered Care Home Manager will ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, manage all relevant staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. 

Required Qualifications and Skills: –

• Registered Managers Award or NVQ level 5
• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines
• At least two years’ experience working as a Registered Manager in a Residential Care Home environment
• An excellent communicator with a flexible attitude to working pattern.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team
• Be responsible for the overall management of all team members within the home and smooth operation of the home.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet or exceed the standards required by CQC so that the home can achieve the highest ratings possible.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise is essential
• Knowledge of IT is preferable
