Job Title: Design Engineer

Duration: 3 month (rolling)
Rate: £36 – £42 per hour

Professional Technical are currently recruiting a contract Pro/e CREO 2 Design Engineer to join our client in Leicester on a rolling 3 month contract basis. You will be working within an established team to design for manufacture an innovative drinks dispensing system for a major international blue chip company.

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will design parts and assemblies, produce and test prototypes and work with tool makers and other suppliers. You will work with plastic injection moulding, vacuum forming, sheet metal, castings and machined metal and you will be using PTC ProEngineer CREO 2 to perform surface and solid modelling.

This is a 3 month contract assignment, using Pro-Engineer CREO 2, based in Leicester.

Requirements

To be successful in this role for Design Engineer, you will need the following skills and experience:

Pro/e CREO 2 or Solidworks
Integrated pumps and/or motors
Experience of designing plastic injection moulded components and assemblies
GD&T, Analysis and Engineering Calculations
Experience of working fast to tight deadlines on multiple projects
