Salary: £42,000 – £43,200 per year
Premier Engineering is working with a company based in Cheshire who is looking for a Project/Design Engineer to join a highly successful global organisation that specialise in a variety of different industries. The company are looking to expand the team on a permanent basis.
The Project/Design Engineer is required to have the below skills and experience:
Skills & Abilities
“Minimum HNC/HND or Mechanical Engineering Degree qualified with at least 2 years post qualified experience.
“Competent on Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience would be considered
“Manufacturing processes experience: sheet metal and Fabrication, machining, pipework, castings
“Experience working within the Pharma/ chemical/ food or other process industries
“Experience with Glovebox Isolators/ downflow booths and other containments would be highly desirable
Main Duties:
“Creating new designs from concept to manufacture in 3D using Autodesk Inventor
“Design calculations
“Creation of technical specifications
“P&ID drawings and process flow diagrams
“FEA Stress analysis, CFD analysis) would be advantageous
“Liaison with clients and their representatives, including site visits/ meetings in UK and overseas.
“Working to set project timeline and budget
The Salary for the Project/Design Engineer position is circa 35-37k.
