Salary: £43,200 – £50,400per annum plus benefits
Education: Degree or HND/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Experience: Proven and progressive experience in the field of manufacturing/process engineering
Proven capabilities in Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Proven capabilities in CNC programming using 3D CAD/CAM (Unigraphics, Vericut, Delcam)
The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will provide engineering support to the business, and will mentor the Manufacturing Engineering team, and support the Prime Manufacturing Manager in promoting lean processes into the manufacturing environment.
The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will major on bringing lean improvements into machining processes, balancing production, quality and delivery and cost within the Manufacturing Engineering team and will have the opportunity to make an impact to the business and the end customer.
This will suit a Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering background from automotive, precision engineering or aerospace. This role will demand and utilise a combination continuous improvement experience and a strong machining background and leadership.
