Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

SEO Specialist

As an SEO specialist you will be expected to apply advanced level optimisation techniques to clientfs
websites whilst supporting the internal SEO team. As a senior member of the SEO team you will be
responsible for performing detailed onsite audits of clientfs websites, reviewing and researching
keywords and copy as well as internal and external links. You will also manage a portfolio of your
own clients which will include implementing link building and social media campaigns, creating
insightful reports and liaising with clients.
You will also be expected to use your expertise to support the internal SEO team.

Core responsibilities:

Help develop overall SEO campaign strategy with management team;
Perform initial analysis and present detailed recommendations to include site architecture,
Internal and external linking, keyword focus and content;
Liaise with clients and their developers to provide support and make sure sites are SEO
friendly;
Work closely with internal copywriters to create relevant content;
Execute search engine optimisation and social media marketing campaigns for your allocated
clients;
Produce and analyse progress reports to spot opportunities to increase traffic;
Advise clients on how to improve usability and conversions;
Support the other members of your team with advanced SEO and social media knowledge and
techniques;
Keep up to date with new SEO developments and actively research, test and propose new ways
of working.
A passion for search engine marketing is essential, but you must also have:
At least 12 months recent SEO and social media experience (3 years total);
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the
Ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment;
An ability to produce accurate and insightful reports;
An advanced knowledge and understanding of both onsite SEO and link building strategies;
Experience in HTML, WordPress and CSS including XML and HTML sitemaps;
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
Ability to present complex subjects in understandable terms;

SEO Specialist
The ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationships;
A strong commercial awareness.
Evidence of experience and successes must be provided.
