Salary: £42,000 per year

Contracts Manager – Rushden, Northamptonshire – up to £35,000 (DOE)

Our client in Rushden is seeking a full time Contracts Manager to work in a busy warehouse distribution business.

We are looking for someone who has e-commerce experience. This role will be responsible for 4- – 150 staff on several shifts sending 5 – 30k orders per day.

You will be expected to manage all operational activities to include and ensure the following:-

o Labour resource is allocated efficiently to all areas.
o Quality control standards are maintained and championed.
o Internal and external SLA’s and KPI’s are achieved.
o Business costs are reduced where possible.
o Health and Safety rules are complied with.
o To maximise long term profit and growth for the company
o To act as an interface between our clients and the company
o To provide our clients with a consistently high standard of service

Duties;

Responsible for the day to day operational activity to include:-

o Goods In
o QC checks
o Photography
o Picking
o Packing
o Despatch
o Stock Management
o Reporting

• Responsible for all operational processes design/implementation/audit.

• Stock Management. Responsible for auditing and verifying Client stock information.

• Responsible for quality control checks to guarantee customer standards are being achieved.

• Responsible for creating/maintaining internal/external SLA’s and KPI’s to meet contractual obligations and commitments.

• Liaise with internal departments and provide all relevant feedback and co-operation.

• Training and monitoring the development of Staff.

• Assist in maintaining a motivated and productive workforce.

• Have a proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace.

• Ensure that all resources are utilised productively.

• To provide occasional cover/assistance in other departments.

• Any other tasks as directed by management.

• Regular weekend/out of hours working as and when required.

• Liaise with clients and manage expectations where appropriate

• Arrange/manage/attend client meetings (on/off site) to include management presentations where appropriate
