£24,756 – £25,243 (£10.25ph – £10.50ph + £40 per sleep in)

Permanent and full time

Approx 40 hrs per week including sleep in duties (sleep ins do not require you to be part of the waking night team)

We are currently recruiting for a Childrens Residential Support Worker to work within an emotional and behavioural home supporting and empowering children aged up to 18 years old. 

Duties – to work as a member of the home’s team and to be professionally accountable in providing children with the necessary activities, support, care and guidance within the home and the environment beyond, for the duration of any child’s stay with the organisation. 

To apply for this role, you will hold;

A qualification relevant to the role such as a Level 3 in Children and Young People/ Health and Social Care. Or, the commitment to achieve a relevant qualification.

An understanding of a child’s development and children’s physical and emotional needs.

Ideally you will have experience working with children and young people in a residential setting, alongside some knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations (including quality standards) 2015, the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015) and an understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

It is essential that you are commitment and have flexibility to the role and responsibilities, that you show honesty and integrity, have good interpersonal skills and you are compassionate and caring.
