A leading Fashion Retailer are seeking a Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the business on a part time basis, 3 days per week, based in Central London. This is a permanent position and an opportunity to join a Retailer who have experienced double digit growth over the last 2 years.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take responsibility for managing the full accounts payable process as well as supervising one Accounts Payable Clerk. Duties will include:

• Overseeing and manually processing 200 invoices per month
• Managing supplier relationships and acting as first point of contact for accounts payable for the business
• Dealing with foreign currency including USD, GBP, Euros
• Handling bank reconciliations for 10+ accounts monthly
• Overseeing the authorisation of payment runs
• Handling petty cash and staff expenses
• Continuous improvement of current processes
• Managing one member of staff including conducting appraisals

The successful candidate will have experience working in a accounts payable role where they have dealt with high volumes (200+ invoices per week) and are comfortable working in a fast paced environment where prioritising is key to the success of the department. You must be an excellent communicator and have proven examples of where you have managed previous relationships. Dealing with foreign currency is essential and ideally you will have exposure to bank reconciliations. Knowledge of the Retail sector is desirable as well as the ability to manage. The business are looking for a candidate who is specifically looking to work 3 days per week and who will be committed to this role for the foreseeable future.
