Salary: £30,000 – £32,400 per year
We are now urgently seeking an experienced environmental chemist for an international multidisciplinary consultancy based near St Albans. This award winning organisation require a GCMS chemist to assist with a range or soil and water analysis projects.
Typical duties will include:
– Operating GC-MS equipment including general maintenance (alignment, calibration)
– Managing and supervising junior staff.
– Method development
– Preparation of environmental samples, solutions and reagents
– Maintenance and management of data records
It is essential that candidates have environmental laboratory experience.
We are seeking candidates who a first class academic background. It is essential that candidates have a BSc Chemistry ideally with a relevant MSc.
The position offers a competitive salary together with bonuses.
