Due to our continued success and growth plans we are now looking to recruit a Logistics Supervisor to join us at our bakery based at 87 Millmarsh Lane, Enfield, Middlesex, EN3 7XJ
Bakery Logistics Supervisor Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be required to lead a team responsible for the night dispatch function and Night stores function, ensuring all aspects of the operation run smoothly to meet quality standards and deadlines. There will also be a need to provide additional managerial support to the transport team leaders during the shift.
Bakery Logistics Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the dispatch process on nightshift.
• To manage the stores department on nightshift
• To provide support to the transport team leaders.
• To monitor performance;
• To set team targets & objectives;
• To carry out daily briefings.
• Ensure the team delivers the key requirements in line with BRC accreditation
• Ensure team members carryout their duties in line with Health and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Manage SOP’s, training and skills matrix.
• Manage team hours to agreed budget.
• Coach team members.
• Lead by example by always behaving in line with the company values.
Bakery Logistics Supervisor Key Requirements:
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• Computer literate in Microsoft packages (Excel & Word)
• Results driven
• Strong planning, organising and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Lead Team Meetings
• Enthusiasm
• Flexible in availability for working hours

Working Hours:
• 40 hours per week, 5 from 7 days
• Backs & Night shifts, requiring flexibility.
