Our client is a super exciting and unusual business within the international Events industry. You’ll have the opportunity to travel, and visit some really exciting places across the world, working with some well known companies and brands.
You will be assisting with the creation, implementation and execution of marketing strategies for their portfolio of events and products. This will be a varied full mix marketing role, though with a strong digital bias. The ideal person will have a passion for marketing and possess strong copy writing, digital marketing and communication skills. The opportunities for progression are huge and we want someone who is ambitious and really wants to develop, that has the relevant Marketing Executive experience.
Main Responsibilities
* Assisting with the creation of marketing plans and starting to take ownership of campaign management: for regional events and digital products
* Helping to drive lead generation for new audiences: identifying opportunities and management of lead process with commercial and events teams.
* Taking an interest in learning further SEO techniques and keeping abreast with technology and strategy developments
* Having involvement with Paid Media campaigns and learning new technical strategies, monitoring performance and ROI
* Website content creation: improving data capture and lead generation for new audiences.
* Analytics & Reporting: production of marketing reports and communicating activities to the wider business.
* Assisting with the delivery and management of the social strategy
* Utilising a variety of analytics tools such as Google analytics and Sprout social or similar
* Copywriting: responsible for communication of value propositions and any other required communications with customers related to the regional events or digital products, where campaign management is owned.
* Assisting with input into the creation of compelling collateral for events and digital products
* Press and media: Assisting with drafting press releases and press contact management.
* Working alongside the other Marketing Executive and supporting the Marketing Manager
Main Skills and Experience
* Possess a Marketing, Advertising, Business Studies degree or similar
* Have strong experience within a commercial environment as a Marketing Executive or similar level
* Be ambitious, driven and wanting to progress into a Marketing Manager role
* Have a passion for Digital and be willing to gain further knowledge across SEO and PPC
* Be social media savvy, able to create great content and have a talent for writing
* Ideally have some knowledge of Google analytics and other tools like Hootsuite or Sprout
