Quality Engineer – Bedford – Up to £35,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands on Quality Engineer to join a growing and stable manufacturing company based in Bedford. The company specialises in the precision / manufacturing industry and ideally looking for a Quality candidate in a background in precision or the mechanical engineering industries.
The desired Quality Engineer will have experience as an ISO 9001 internal auditor and be involved with inspecting in house components.
The role of the Quality Engineer:
* Investigate non conformance and preform 8D problem solving.
* Be involved with carrying out internal audits to ISO 9001.
* Inspect components to specifications.
* Check calibration of measuring equipment.
* Liaise with all engineering departments and drawing errors and process improvements.
Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
* Previously working in a similar role.
* Experience with ISO 9001.
* Experience working in a mechanical manufacturing – ideally precision parts.
Package of the Quality Engineer:
* Salary up to £42,000.
* 25 days holiday plus standard.
