Caretaker with Enhanced Crb Disclosure

Our client is seeking a candidate who is available to start work immediately and will prove to be hard working, reliable and committed to this booking. At this time the booking is to be reviewed on a weekly basis however this person could be working with our client for some time, long term.

Working as a Caretaker, on an eduactionl site, you willl deal with standard caretaker duties across several local sites in Barking & Dagenham.

These duties will evolve over time however the candidate should be flexible with any task provided with the ability to work to their own initiative and also as part of a team.

The role is busy, common sense and self-motivation is very important.

Hours of work will be 8 hours per day, working between 6am – 6pm and flexibility is crucial. Overtime is available.

The ideal candidate will have held a previous physical position, (handyman, caretaker, decorator, labourer etc).

The suitable candidate will be expected to attend an interview for a brief chat and the client will ask you to perform some caretaker duties for 30 minutes to ensure that the candidate understands what is involved and that they are capable of performing each task.

annual salary of: £26,000per year, uniform will be provided after the first few shifts and you will need to wear your own footwear, either safety shoes or sturdy trainers – no plimsolls.
