School Caretaker

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are looking for a caretaker or expereinced cleaner / handyperson to join a School local to the Rugby area. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of caretaking and cleaning tasks, ensuring the service is continually improved, and the schools risk assessments and cleaning specifications are met.

• Working across the whole school undertaking small outdoor maintenance tasks and being a key holder responsible for opening and closing the school site each day.
• Cleaning the food hall.
• Cleaning, and sanitising of all communal areas and toilets.
• Clearing and cleaning classrooms in preparation for teaching the next day.
• Antibacterial cleansing of handrails, doors and other touchpoints.
• Maintaining clear floor areas and making sure cloakrooms are kept tidy.

This is an ongoing permanent contract. All successful applicants will be subject to a full / enhanced DBS check. In all cases we are looking to offer long term career prospects.
