Roles and responsibilities:

As a Security Watchdog Pre-Employment Screening Advisor, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of Pre-Employment Screening checks within an agreed timescale on candidates who are entering employment with our clients. Industry and client specific training is provided to enable you to confidently contact and persuade previous employers and education institutes to issue references for your candidates in the fastest possible time. You will require an enquiring mind as you piece together the jigsaw of an individual’s background, plus an antennae to spot any irregularities which need escalating. At the same time your excellent customer service skills will put candidates at ease and please clients during the screening process, demonstrating your high standards of professionalism. You will be required to:

Ensure the timely delivery of Pre-Employment Screening that meets or exceeds client service level agreements and turnaround times
Using a variety of tools to research the appropriate contacts in order to persuade them to provide a written reference
Carry out telephone based vetting to ensure candidates are screened appropriately, identifying risk where appropriate
To provide outstanding verbal and written communications to both candidates, referees and clients, thereby ensuring exemplary customer service
Follow and maintain business standard operating procedures and screening procedures for client requirements
Display a keen level of attention to detail, to ensure your monthly compliance statistics are achieved
Ensure service delivery meets/exceeds agreed client service level agreements and turnaround times
Maintain a sensitive approach to personal data of applicants in line with Data Protection requirements.
Display a keen eye for detail to ensure 100% accuracy on all your screening activity.

Personal Specification:

A passionate and skilled telephone communicator who is versed in overcoming challenges and going around gate keepers
Strong time management coupled with the ability to multitask
Outstanding, proactive and persuasive communicator
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
IT literate coupled with good administration experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
