I am recruiting for an Employment Advisor to join a National provider of Welfare to Work in the Coventry region.

The ideal candidate will have experience of the Work programme and of working with caseloads to support the long term unemployed into sustainable employment.

The role is based in the Coventry office and it is a full time amd permanent opportunity.

The outline of the role is as follows:
The Case Manager is responsible for the development and mentoring of the customer after the initial assessment, the development of a personalized action plan, one to one reviews and group training sessions. The Case Manager is also responsible for understanding their client aspirations and the sourcing of suitable job vacancies through cold calling and marketing.
The duties:
• One to one mentoring to assess job readiness and on-going support
• Identify and address possible personal barriers with customers
• Develop new approaches and techniques to deliver a personalised service
• Liaise closely with the Employer Relations Advisor to ensure suitable vacancies are secured
• Engage with external employers by cold calling, conducting employer visits, sourcing placements and general marketing.
• Embrace continuous improvement
• Work effectively to meet both individual and contractual targets
• Understand, apply and meet contractual compliance and audit requirements
• Contribute to effective MI using and updating databases accurately
• Liaise with external agencies effectively

Candidates need to have the following experience as a minimum:
• Relevant NVQ Level 3: Information, Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• Experience of working in the Welfare to Work Sector specifically in a customer facing role
• Previous knowledge and experience in a Case Manager role
• Experience in coaching and mentoring
• Previous experience of recruitment and competency assessments
• Ability to manage your own time and caseload
• A proven ability to develop job vacancies via localised sales
• IT Knowledge
• Evidence of working to and meeting KPI’s
