Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

A Historical & Interactive Site with a heavy public footfall is about to re-open and is seeking a Technical Integration Manager/Project Manager.

This is an immediate requirement for a minimum period of 12 months, however it is likely that the right candidate will be offered the role on a permanent basis.

The successful Project Manager will be able to Manage the Design Stage. This will encompass the following:

Define technical requirements for projects.

Map technical requirements across the programme to ensure no overlap or gaps.

Write technical briefs for the projects.

Track technical requirements across the programme to ensure they are met through the design.

Agree suitable hand-back process with all parties (Estates team, project team, contractor) and write a brief for inclusion in main contract tender.

Input to compilation of main contract tender documents.

Review tender submissions for main contractors and take part in tender interviews.

Promote consistency in design and product specification and selection across Vision 2025 packages and works.

Promote sustainable / whole life efficiency options.

* Collaborate with Project and Estates functions at Design Stage.

* Design Team are offered reasoned and technical comment on proposals and integration with existing systems.

* Asset Manager requirements are raised and implemented.

* Term Contract implications are raised and implemented.

* Estate Manager is updated on Plant, Building and Infrastructure impacts on usual operations of service.

Manage the Build Stage:

Track technical requirements across the programme to ensure they are met through the design.

Collaborate with Clerk of Works on technical aspects of installation relating to:

Efficacy of design integration.

* Adherence to specification:

* Workmanship.

* Maintain links with Estates and Ops Teams to facilitate “Business as Usual” delivery of MEP packages.

* Collaborate with Design Team on RFI and VO.

Commissioning and Handover (soft landing)

Contribute to snagging list intelligence to snagging list close

Ensure O&M information is distributed and requirements implemented.

Act as information resource to Estates Team and Term Maintenance Contractor:

Update of PPM schedule

Update of Asset Reg

Functionality, Operation & Maintenance

Dip sample testing & commissioning of services and systems.

Ensure that all deliverables provided.

Ensure hand-back process delivered.

Be main contact for Vision 2025 consultants commissioning engineer.

Ensure robust commissioning plan in place.

Post-handover

Feed in Lessons Learned back to Estates and Group projects
