Senior Mep Manager

Salary: £102,000 – £114,000 per year

Senior MEP Manager – North London – Permanent role – High end residential 

We have got an outstanding opportunity for a Senior MEP Manager working for an award winning developer on one of their major developments to manage all M&E activities in North London. We are looking for a strong leader and true expert within MEP sector with a strong focus on residential schemes, someone who is a self-starter and has strong problem-solving skills, who is able to make decisions and ensure that works are being completed in accordance with specification and in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for M&E packages on live projects
• Produce weekly / monthly progress and safety reports to the client
• Ensuring that the high quality of ongoing works and testing
• Inspection of completed M&E works
• Liaise with the team and sub-contractors to develop installation and commissioning programmes.
• Chairing client and internal meetings
• Managing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing elements of live projects and tenders
• Sing off and submit drawing for approval

Essential:

• Leading and managing all electrical and mechanical subcontractors as well as all internal employees
• Manage project execution to ensure budget and schedule compliance.
• Conduct MEP contractor pre-qualifications.
• Competence in all aspects of QA and H&S
• Strong understanding of M&E processes and their application
• Excellent IT skills
• SMSTS, CSCS/ECS Black card, CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, IOSH
• Fully conversant with risk assessment techniques
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading M&E teams and working on working on residential developments.
