Focus 5 Recruitment are working with one of the leading sports digital marketing agencies in the UK and Brazil. Our client now employs 20 people across two continents, with revenues growing year-on-year. 

We’re looking for a creative copywriter to join one of their exclusive betting teams.

This team is an online football betting community in the United Kingdom with a core mission of ‘providing outstanding quality in football betting content while reinforcing a strong and responsible gambling message.’ 

If you can combine a passion for football with a passion for digital marketing, this role is for you. You’ll be creating engaging and compelling copy for an enormous audience of football betting enthusiasts. 

Within the brand, you will be writing copy for: 

● Social Media: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram 

● Website 

● Emails: to a mailing list with 60,000 people 

What we look for in the ideal candidate: 

● Passionate about football and understand the culture of football betting in the UK 

● Quickly learn and adopt a brand’s tone then apply it to your copy 

● Understand the followers and users, you’re writing for them 

● Must be passionate about digital marketing, specifically copywriting and social media 

● Analytical thinker, with a test, track, and learn attitude 

● A creative approach to all work, not just in terms of creating copy, but also in terms of generating ideas as well 

It should go without saying, but you also need to be:

● Ready to work in a fast-paced environment 

● Open to working nights and weekends, it’s unavoidable if you want to work in football
