Outbound Customer Service Advisors

We are searching for sales and service advisors to work in a fast paced contact centre environment based in Newcastle City Centre.

These roles are initially temporary until the end of October with a view to them being extended thereafter.

As part of the recruitment criteria, we will undertake a full DBS, which must be returned a maximum of 8 weeks after the start date. With this in mind, you will need an in date passport OR a full original Birth Certificate, proof of National Insurance number AND 2 recent proofs of address (dated within the last 2 months)

The successful candidate will be working on one of the centre’s public sector campaigns. The campaign is a leading personal and social development programme for the next generation and is a government funded initiative.

As an Outbound Sales/Service Advisor, you will be interacting with 15 – 17 year old’s in a outbound contact centre environment. You will have excellent communication skills to discuss the programme and complete the application process with the parents, guardians or sponsors. Whilst supporting the 15-17 year old’s through the whole process and customer journey through the government scheme.

Criteria

* As an applicant, your background will include time spent in a customer service/sales environment

* Self motivated with an eye for detail and results focused

* You should enjoy solving customers problems over the telephone including overcoming objections

Advantageous criteria

* Experience working within a contact centre environment

* Experience of making outbound calls to customers

Working pattern

Monday to Friday – 1PM to 9PM
Saturday 10AM to 6PM
Sunday 10AM to 6PM

** The campaign will require successful applicants to work one full weekend every four weeks. The rest of the month will involve working either a Saturday or Sunday shift.**
