Position –Endoscopy Staff Nurse- Oxford

Salary – £26,400 – £33,600
Hours – Full Time 37.5hrs Per Week
Our client offers the very latest in terms of technology, treatment and care. They have invested heavily in high technology scanners and equipment to support the wide range of specialist services available. They have 25 consulting rooms, six main theatres and two minor theatres, and a seven bedded Intensive Care Unit.

About the Role:
In the role of Endoscopy Staff Nurse you will expect to be working in a pressured environment as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team. Core Responsibilities:
Assist in the delivery of patient care within the Endoscopy Department.
Supervising and supporting patients through pre and post operative care whilst working with clinical support staff and junior staff in the delivery of care to meet patient an self development needs
Delivering high quality patient care, which is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a collaborative programme

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
As a nurse registered with the appropriate governing body, you’ll have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. You’ll also have post-registration experience.
Immediate / Advanced Life Support is desirable.

So you’ll appreciate having the time to care – to fully understand each patient’s needs and provide individual attention that can mean so much when they’re at their most vulnerable. In short, you’ll be able to deliver the type of care that comes naturally to a talented nurse.
You’ll be an excellent communicator and team worker – flexible and motivated. As part of the hospital team, you’ll interact with practitioners from other departments because you understand the importance of continuity in patient care.
Candidates must be NMC qualified.
