Site Manager – Commercial Solar Pv

Salary: £40,800 – £45,600 per year

Our client’s mission is to deliver energy and environmental savings to their clients through the deployment of clean energy technologies such as Solar PV, Battery Storage & LED lighting to power a sustainable future. They are a fast-growing company who need to expand their team by recruiting a new Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site-based activities for the duration, to ensure the projects get delivered on time, to quality and within budget.
• Helping the on-site team have the necessary resources to carry out the project.
• Ensure quality is of the highest standard ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.
• Be a motivational voice to the team on site.
• Liaise with all contractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitoring costs and optimising project delivery to provide efficiencies.
• Liaise with the client, internal team and any other stakeholders to ensure the job runs smoothly.
• Conducting toolbox talks.
• Carrying out safety inspections and ensuring site safety.
• Writing reports and ensuring paperwork is all kept up with.
• Helping to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licences

Requirements

• Have worked in the commercial rooftop solar industry for 2+ years.
• Be fully electrically qualified OR be a strong construction manager with solar experience.
• Be personable, friendly and empathetic to command control and respect on site.
