This is an exciting opportunity to join the SHEQ team of a leading business in the utilities industry, working on a number of frameworks across the southern region of the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience within the utilities and infrastructure sector, and have a collaborative, positive approach to influencing health and safety. This opportunity is suited to those either stepping up in their career or those who already have experience as a manager, and whilst this is a 12-month FTC, there is the chance to go permanent at the end of the contract.

The SHE Manager will be responsible for:

• Ensuring a positive and compliant SHE culture across the frameworks and wider business
• Travelling to different sites as required across the region
• Maintain and improve relevant SHE systems and documentation
• Collaborate with the wider business and management team to advise and support on all SHE related matters

The SHE Manager will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in a SHE role within the utilities or infrastructure sector
• NEBOSH General Certificate / Construction Certification (or equivalent) as a minimum
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
