Our client is an exciting organisation at the forefront of the Localisation, Computer Gaming and Interactive Entertainment industry. They are currently sourcing quality Danish speaking Localisation Games Testers with full written and spoken fluency and excellent translation skills in Danish to become part of the team on a project-by-project basis.

*Please be aware that some night shifts will be required as part of this role 5pm: 2am

Role Description:

Acting as a resource to test and proofread localised versions of computer games, the Danish speaking Games Localisation Tester will perform the following duties:
-Ensuring localised assets are correctly translated, consistent with the English source and correctly implemented in the games
-Testing software according to instructions across current game platforms, including PC, Xbox 360, PSP, PS3, DS, DSi, 3DS
-Conform during testing to the format holders` and clients` standards
-Accurately record bugs found and provide viable solutions to any issues
-Re-testing claimed or fixed bugs in later builds of the game
-Use of localisation tools (text files or localisers)
-Raise any problems with the QA Localisation Lead Technician
-Completing daily tasks set by QA Localisation Lead Technician: e.g. playing through recordings
-Make sure the industry title is of industry quality standards before game release

Person Specification:

The successful candidate(s) for the role of Danish speaking Games Localisation Testers will be fluent to native quality in Danish, with a strong emphasis on outstanding proven written skills. You will also have a strong understanding of the English language, and are likely to have received training/education relating to languages/translation.
A keen eye for detail is critical to the role, as is good PC literacy and a general interest in PC and console games.
You will be a good team member, who is willing to learn through experience, although previous experience in a QA Localisation environment would be very advantageous. Knowledge of bug-tracking software is an advantage.
Due to the project-based nature of the role, you will be flexible to work a range of different shifts and may well be called to assist on projects with limited advanced warning/notice.
