Project Manager Construction

Salary: £660 – £780 per day

We are working with a local, engineering organisation looking to appoint an NEC3 project manager to help deliver the ongoing construction of a new exciting engineering-based project totalling £400m +.

This is currently forecast for January 2026 but will also require closedown support after the project’s completion. There is also scope for additional projects following this for the right candidate.

Responsibilities & desirables

• You MUST have NEC3 experience
• within construction of industrial, engineering or manufacturing projects is essential
• Onsite is preferable but some remote working may be available.
• Dealing with design teams is essential
• You will be required to produce cost estimates, negotiate with external parties, manage external contractors and consultants, and liaise with other members of the team to ensure smooth delivery.
• You will manage the project life cycle from feasibility stage through to completion.
• Assist developments manager with project labour planning and contractor allocations
• Work with building inspectors, structural engineers, architects & designers, interiors designers, building surveyors, CDM Co- Coordinators, M&E Consultants & Engineers Instruct and manage Gas, Electric and water service providers and plan related works with construction team
• Manage internal construction teams and sub-contractors on site
