Catering Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

A great opportunity has arisen for several Catering Assistant’s to join a housing provider based in Berkshire on a permanent basis. You will be required to help support the catering service for customers over the age of 55 living within the designated schemes. The role is a permanent position Salary: £26,000per year.

Role responsibilities:

* Assist with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and catering service within the independent living schemes.
* Work well with colleagues to ensure a customer focused seamless service to all volunteers, residents and external customers using the restaurant.
* Ensuring you are aware of all safeguarding responsibilities.
* Available to work out of office hours, weekends, and bank holidays.
* When required you will be required to deliver meals to the independent living schemes?

Skills and experience required:

* High customer service skills
* At least 1 years catering experience.
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Good IT skills
* Flexible and willing to adapt.
* Open to working out of office hours.

Qualifications and other requirements

* Relevant qualifications either NVQ or CIH (full or working towards)
* Experience at supervisory level in customer-focused service
* Driving license and vehicle
