JOB SPEC DETAILS

Job Title: Estimator – Electrical Engineer – Ipswich area
Category: Engineering
Location: Suffolk
Salary: £42,000plus benefits
Job Type: Permanent

Description:

Must be able to cost & estimate Electrical projects from £50,000 – £1,000, 000 + from estimate stage to completion, with existing and new clients.

Key qualifications: Ideally HNC/HND Electrical Engineering. Estimating & Costing skills

Ideally design and survey skills

Locations: Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, plus East Anglia and London.

Required for an ASAP start.

Type of work: Commercial offices, flats and houses plus some industrial, warehouses, factories, installation and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC and heating systems.

Duties: Liasing with clients, completing estimates, ensuring work is completed to specification, QA procedures, safety, schedules, costs and attending client/site meetings.

Qualities and skills: Experience of domestic, commercial and industrial type work, ideally with experience of renewable energy contracts.

Expected salary of £42,000 plus depending on experience and qualifications, company vehicle or allowance, 20 + days holiday and other benefits.

Job Title: Project Engineer/Manager – Ipswich area
Category: Engineering
Location: Suffolk
Salary: £42,000plus benefits
Job Type: Permanent

Description:

Must be able to control and manage contracts from estimate stage to completion, with existing and new clients.

Key qualifications: C&G, NVQ and Ideally HNC/HND Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.

Ideally ACS Safe Qualified, computer literate and with a UK driving license. Safety Cards: ECS or CSCS Card- –

ideally with management and safety such as IOSH or NEBOSH. Locations: Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, plus East Anglia and London. Required for an ASAP start.

Type of work: Commercial offices, flats and houses plus some industrial, warehouses, factories, installation and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC and heating systems.

Duties: Liasing with clients, completing estimates, management of contracts from start to finish, overall management of company staff and sub contractors ensuring work is completed to specification, QA procedures, safety, schedules, costs and attending client/site meetings.

Qualities and skills: Experience of domestic, commercial and industrial type work to ACS Gas Safe standards ideally with experience of renewable energy contracts.

Expected salary of £40,000 plus depending on experience and qualifications, company vehicle or allowance, 20 + days holiday and other benefits.
