The Role: Logistics Assistant /Logistics Officer
To support and co-ordinate logistics projects on site by following established procedures and guidelines.
Key Accountabilities:
Analysis of information from SAP and Business Warehouse, using results to make recommendations to improve the performance i.e. optimising costs, tonnage and delivery performance of products.
Perform other administrative tasks using independent judgment and discretion. Plan, organise, and schedule own workload so that these activities are completed accurately and on time. These activities may include preparing a variety of documents and attending meetings to support the managers.
Provide support and assistance to all logistics managers, (transport manager, Internal Logistics manager and finished product warehouse manager)
Develop recommendations for changes to processes and systems that will minimise risk, improve performance and productivity, and ensure that the organisation complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
The Candidate: Logistics Assistant /Logistics Officer
Candidates should note that this IS NOT an office based position. Will spend the majority of time on site in all weathers.
Must be qualified to degree level in logistics, supply chain, engineering, business or manufacturing.
Must available for out of hours call service.
Must have driving license and transport
