Operations Manager – Logistics and Distribution

Due to continued expansion my client a global player in the fasteners market are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to work from there Bredbury site. This a key appointment for the organisation and will offer progression over a longer period of time.

The site currently supports a large UK manufacturing brand within the automotive sector, with 50 employees and 4 direct reports the role will encompass the entire running and profitability of the site.

You will be an experienced hands on manager who has experienced changed management and restructure in a previous roles and can give strong examples of how this was implemented.

Duties will include

– Managing Profit and Loss Statement of hub
– Productivity of site driven by figures
– Manage warehouse processes
– Managing relationships between internal and external shareholders
– Performance Management of direct reports

To be considered for the position you must be able to demonstrate that you have worked within a senior level position, ideally within warehousing and distribution but other sectors may be considered. You will be able to demonstrate that you have managed people and managed change, you will be a strong communicator with a professional manner. You must be IT literate with excellent Excel knowledge.
