Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced QA Analyst to join our QA team which oversees quality as a whole for the Innovations team.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for testing features and bug fixes that have been implemented. Reporting to the QA Manager, they will be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design and execution of test plans, scripts and process plans. The QA Analyst will work closely with all departments to perform and validate test cases based on requirements set out by the Head of Innovations. They will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets specification requirements, is fully functional and user friendly. Candidates must have hands on experience in Automating Mobile Apps, using Appium/Cappucino/Jest.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and documenting test plans and test cases for features and user journeys
  • Hands on Manual and Automation experience
  • Taking ownership of the QA role and driving it forward
  • Identifying scenarios for ensuring quality standards are met for Prevayl products
  • Drafting quality assurance processes for the business
  • Spearheading QA presentations to the development team
  • Monitoring Bugsnag for production issues, attempting to recreate and then creating bugs in JIRA
  • Being involved from the beginning stages of ticket creation, ensuring that acceptance criteria meets ticket standards
  • Ensuring that the delivered product meets business requirements and is stable
  • Strategically identifying areas of weakness and presenting them to the team for improvements
  • Manually testing new features and bug fixes
  • Helping establish baselines of quality through non-functional testing
  • Monitoring and tracking metrics (Hotjar & Google Analytics) to analyse usage for future improvements
  • A to B testing
  • Investigating and testing customer issue reports
  • Documenting quality assurance activities for reporting
  • Communicate test results and testing progress to key stakeholders and upper management
  • Liaising with development team to ensure that testing environments meet the standards needed for QA to function properly
  • Identifying needs for test data within the QA environments

Requirements:

Experience with manually testing apps (iOS and Android)

Experience with manually testing eCommerce web apps (frontend and backend)

Experience with performance & load testing

Excellent documentation skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Solid understanding of testing tools (e.g. BrowserStack)

Attention to detail is of the utmost importance

Experience with designing and implementing processes

At least 3 years experience in a QA role

Methodical and analytical approach to work

Keen interest in wanting to learn new technologies

Experience with JIRA

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum

Experience with Automated Testing (Endtest, Appium, TestCafe, etc.)

Desirable:

Experience with integrated hardware testing (Bluetooth)
