Are you a BEng Graduate in a construction or engineering related course, looking to start a career with a major player in the utilities and power industry?
The role is offering a structured 2 year training and development programme across the spectrum of the sector (design, commissioning, sales etc.) and is one of the most apprentice type training schemes available. Individuals will have the opportunity to work towards gaining a professional status with the IET
Therefore this is the ideal opportunity for two years development, whilst earning an excellent salary, before commencing as a full trained Construction Engineer.
The role will include:
-Spending the first five months learning about the business spending approximately one month each in Sales, Tendering, Design and Business Support.
-Then move on to spend a longer period working in Construction, Commissioning, and with the SHEQ team learning about business compliance, quality and health and safety.
-After two years progress to a full Construction Engineer
To apply for the role you should have:
-Degree at 2:1 or above in a construction or engineering discipline
-Superb written and spoken communication skills
-Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
As the role will involve training in the client offices across the UK, the candidate must be willing to travel and stay away from home during the week at times.
The role is initially Salary: £26,000 – £28,800plus benefits plus early and consistent salary reviews. The client is looking for 4 new staff members.
