Salary: £300 – £420 per day
This international manufacturer of aerospace parts and prototypes is looking for Continuous Improvement Engineer to provide technical support to their Coventry site.
You will be tasked with optimising the factory performance and efficiency ensuring that manufacturing methods and tooling fixtures are cost competitive and sustainable.
Suitable for: Lean Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Method Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, SQA Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development of processes and procedures.
Attend Material Review Boards and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Solve all aspects of manufacturing problems in real time.
Analyse equipment efficiency and improvise utilisation.
Carry out Six Sigma green belt projects.
Recording information for audit purposes.
Ensure work instructions and data cards reflect NADCAP requirements.
You will have:
HND in Mechanical Engineering or substantial work experience
Aerospace background
Experience in Machined Fabrications
Lean manufacturing ideologies
