Continuous Improvement Manager Up to £38,000 Lincolnshire Monday – Friday Days

My client, a large Blue Chip Food Manufacturer, is currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team in Lincolnshire. This role in offering a salary of up to £45,600and is a Monday – Friday days based position.

Job Purpose

This being a pivotal role the Continuous improvement Manager will have responsibility for driving forward and supporting the development and deployment of structured continuous improvement activities across the site to deliver best in class operational excellence.

To support the Site Management Team to develop a culture of daily performance review and visual management through cell meetings and business unit reviews.
To up skill our team by way of delivering CI workshops to cross functional audiences and to support and fully complete the facilitation of improvement projects at all levels within the business using the “Moy Park Way” and to guide and support the team in their application.

Utilising continuous improvement techniques, the CI Manager will support the site management team to imbed a culture of continuous improvement, deliver the site category plans, employee engagement and the behaviours of a high performance organisation.

Responsibilities

* To work with the site team to manage a budget for Continuous Improvement, achieving or bettering the agreed improvements for the site.
* Ensure Projects are monitored daily/weekly and savings are accurately recorded with our finance team.
* Assist the site team to deliver value, category and profit improvement plans for the site through ensuring efficiency in process, waste elimination and maximising service to our customers.
* A Continuous Improvement Coordinator will report to you and therefore must ensure all data requirements are completed when covering absence through holiday’s or illness.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Minimum of 3 years management experience working with Continuous Improvement within the manufacturing industry
* Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering sustainable change initiatives and results
* Advanced excel and MS office applications.
* Project Management experience.
