Marketing Assistant

My client is seeking a Marketing Assistant, who is experienced in Photoshop, Indesign and HTML to take responsibility for the implementation of marketing plans and related marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
•Promoting the Company brand and products through social media channels
•Assisting in planning and organising marketing events
•Assisting in executing email marketing campaigns
•Assisting in the preparation of marketing plans and managing the implementation of the
operational marketing plan, including media PR and direct mail
•Managing the on-line marketing operations, liaising with the IT department as required
•Assisting in the development and maintenance of the company’s marketing database
•Researching and developing new marketing initiatives
•Liaising with external agencies as required to deliver the marketing plans
•Liaising with members of the Marketing Team to execute co-ordinated tactical
telemarketing activities
•Evaluating, monitoring and reporting on marketing activity and its effectiveness
•Assisting in conducting market research activities and assessing competitive marketing
activity
•Administrative and other general duties within the department

Key Skills Required:
•A high degree of computer literacy, specifically MS Word, Excel, Web and social media skills
•Good Copywriting and online experience
•Experience of Photoshop, Indesign and HTML
•Knowledge of marketing operations – experience of preparing, implementing and monitoring marketing plans and activities
•Degree or equivalent
•Self-starter able to organise, manage time effectively, prioritise and work to deadlines
•Good command both verbally and written of the English language
•An ability to bring imaginative problem solving techniques to the achievement of
departmental objectives
•Professional and well developed interpersonal skills
•Effective communication skills with a variety of audiences with the use of appropriate
language, style, content and impact
•Design experience desirable
