£26,000 per year – £26,000 per year UMBRELLA + Overtime Rates

3 months minimum contract (realistic opportunity for extensions)

My client prides themselves on their unique and unrivalled product. They have an enviable presence within their market and are experts in their field. Dealing with specialist composites and due to their impressive clientele, they have an order book that is full. They are looking to add an addition to their team, who will have the capability to assist with both the paint spraying aspect, as well as other parts of the role as detailed below.

The role of the Paint Sprayer / Assembly Fitter will involve:

Mixing the paint (Two part Epoxy).

*
Preparing the material to be sprayed. This will include; priming, masking up, sanding down etc.

Applying the paint onto the product.

*
Further to this; it will also be necessary for the successful candidate to be involved in the assembly of the product. This will include the following tasks;

Following work instructions, and signing off that it has been completed step by step.

Working in pairs.

*
Composite laminating- this is something that can be taught. Applying specialist materials.

*
Working from engineering drawings.

The Paint Sprayer / Assembly Fitter will need to have the following experience:

paint spraying, this could be from any industry. This needs to be all encompassing of the preparation stages through to complete spray and after care.

*
Experience working within a mechanical or assembly environment. The ability to follow work instructions and comfortable working with your hands.

The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

*
Willingness to pick up a new skill, this company is willing to teach the composite laminating side of the role.

Happy to work both autonomously and within a pair.
