Marketing and Circulations Manager – Publishing Sector – Permanent – West London

Salary: £28,800 – £32,400per annum + benefits

The Client:

My key client based in West London is looking for a Marketing and Circulations Manager to lead their marketing team and activities across both offline and online channels. The client is a market leading, publishing company dedicated to bringing authoritative and independent coverage to the market through its popular print magazines, directories and newsletters.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the entire distribution process in print and online, ensuring accurate, well-researched print and email mailing lists, while working to strict deadlines. You would also be responsible for designing and delivering the marketing strategy. The role requires excellent communication skills, as you will regularly liaise with the sales team, editors, distributors and printers.

Key Skills and Experience:

Marketing/Research

– Maintain and develop the subscriber database through marketing strategies, research and readership surveys
– Data profiling, manipulation and audience segmentation for internal and external clients.
– Oversee the data maintenance and research strategy for online database, housing information that is printed in Yearbooks and used for marketing/sales purposes.
– Negotiate media sponsorship and contra agreements with event organisers, and attend conferences.
– Implement marketing strategies to develop digital exposure of two brands, utilising email and social media channels.
– Strategic planning and development for two brands.

Circulation

– Coordinate the distribution process for quarterly B2B magazines, annual directories and a monthly online newsletters.
– Oversee the management and delivery of the digital versions of publications and Directory, plus coordinating the website and Directory development programmes.
– Compile mailing lists, carrier sheets and organise the distribution of inserts in cooperation with the Mailing House.
– Prepare annual BPA circulation audits and biannual audit statements.
