Gilbert Meher are working with an award winning premium quality Home Care provider to recruit a Care Coordinator to oversee services in the Cardiff area. The position presents a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Care Manager to deliver flagship services within an exciting and ethical business environment.

About the Role

As the Care Coordinator you will inherit responsibility for delivering premium quality, market leading services to adults with Physical and Learning Disabilities and the elderly in the home. You will provide leadership and effective management to maximise the potential of your team, whilst monitoring and achieving high levels of compliance. Your contribution to overall business strategy will be wide ranging, however you will be focused primarily on scheduling staff rotas and coordinating day to day activities for the service user group (older people) in the community.

About You

Above all else you must have a strong background and knowledge of the care industry, ideally coming from a similar role. Possession of NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care in addition to a solid care background, excellent computer skills and the ability to demonstrate good use of Microsoft Office software is essential in line with industry standards. You will be an ambitious, determined and driven care professional with a commitment to providing quality person centred care. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be a strong leader, possess good communication skills and an organised approach to work. You will need to be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner, be approachable and flexible and have the ability to meet deadlines.
