Title: Recruiter
Location: Flexible with reporting office based in Rushden, Northamptonshire
Business Area: Kier Group Services
Job Grade: C3

Kier Group has long believed that we all have the potential to shape our world – and leave a legacy. So, bring your talent and ambition to our team and you’ll be given the scope and opportunity to achieve just that – investing in your own future, building your expertise and contributing to a diverse culture that’s helping shape the world of tomorrow.

We are currently looking for a Recruiter to join our centralised Resourcing Team to assist in the coordination of recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role you will co-ordinate the recruitment process including raising requisitions, writing and posting adverts, searching for candidates and arranging interviews. You will actively manage a candidate database for defined roles within the business and proactively source new candidates from a range of places including jobsites and social media. Screening candidates to understand what roles they are interested in, their salary expectations, availability and matching candidates to talent pools, as well as providing candidate shortlists to the Senior Recruiters is a key part of this role. You’ll be dealing with Stakeholders – building and maintaining strong relationships. In addition you will be using our recruitment system Taleo to manage the recruitment process, ensuring the system is up to date.

What are we looking for?

You will need to have the ability to direct source candidates and experience of a high volume recruitment environment, preferably having worked either within an internal recruitment team or a leading recruitment organisation. A good understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment and selection and being highly organised with excellent communication skills – verbal and written is an essential requirement. If this sounds like you and you are also a confident user of MS Office, especially MS Excel, candidate tracking systems and social media tools then please apply!
