Legal Support Network Ltd

Salary: £33,600 – £39,600 per year

We are growing media/publishing business, 16 people currently, and looking for our first ever Marketing manager to join our team, its an exciting time here.

Let us tell you about the role on offer;

Working across our three core media brands (LSN, Briefing and Legal Practice Management) you will be responsible for creating and delivering a content led engagement strategy that meets the businesses commercial and engagement goals. Each brand contains a range of products including a mix of magazines, conferences, networking events, websites, research and micro-events, all of which are targeted at a diverse b2b audience.

This role represents a genuinely rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly capable, initiative rich and creative marketer to build and deliver a marketing programme from the ground up. We genuinely want you to effect change in our business and drive the marketing agenda forward.

Initially you’ll be required to make an assessment of our existing digital capability, processes and marketing methodology, with a view to making suggestions for improvement and development. To give you a clue here, we expect this to include investment in new technologies, which we hope you’ll project manage, implement and install.

You’ll also have to research and understand the brands, products, services, audience and goals of the business and then devise the best approach for achieving commercially focused goals.

Here’s the type of journey we think you’ll have been on and skills and experience we think we need;

We think you’re likely to be a senior marketing exec or recently promoted manager who’s a ‘digital native’. What do we mean by that? Well, we want you to build our digital channels to market and organise all the systems that enable that, so you’re going to have to be a digital hero. That includes building email campaigns (html skills important), use of social channels, email automation, web tracking/analytics and CRM management.

We can see you having up to 5 years experience since leaving university. That’s not to say you need to have gone to university, as long as you can demonstrate knowledge and experience in digital marketing, you could be our person.

What we also want is to see that you’ve effected change in a business, contributed some great ideas, shown enthusiasm for making things better.

We run communities, so some experience and knowledge of engaging with communities and particularly marketing conferences and events in a B2B environment is very desirable.

Does this sound like you? Great!

We’ve got a full job spec we’re happy to share and always happy to discuss the role as well.

Feel free to use the ” button below to start your journey with us or give us a ring if you have questions.

We look forward to meeting you…
