Position: Accounts Assistant

A highly successful and expanding organisation, based in Liverpool, are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Department Manager you will be responsible for the day to day processing of invoices amongst other duties. The role will initially be on an ongoing temporary basis however there is a strong chance that the role will be made permanent for the successful candidate.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

• Processing disbursement ledger invoices
• Reconciling payments and receipts
• Producing and circulating reports on a daily and monthly basis
• Arranging payment / settlement of international invoices
• Monitoring the resolution of ongoing queries
• Liaising with internal and external parties
• Ensuring compliance with internal control procedures
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Department Manager
  

Essential Requirements are:

• You must have a minimum of 2 years accounts experience working within a similar role/environment
• Ability to work to deadlines is essential
• Possess a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a time
